Born and bred in the swamps of Louisiana, Mark Adam Miller is the Country Rockin’ Cajun through and through. Swamp water fills his veins and the Delta Rhythms pump his heart. Mark honors the swagger and truth of country music in every step of his boot stompin', his authentic songwriting and big bold live shows. Mark's unique brand of music blurs the boundaries of country, rock, americana, and soul.

What's Mark’s music sound like? Like flying down a winding country road with the top down, the wind whippin’ through your hair, the sun smilin’ down on you with your favorite song cranked up so loud you can barely hear the engine roaring at your feet.

The country gumbo Mark produces is an original and authentic blend of country artists old and new. Surround a campfire with folks like Tim McGraw, Toby Keith, Brad Paisley, Keith Urban, Rodney Atkins, Kenny Chesney, Jake Owen, Jack Ingram, Pat Green, and add a little Glen Campbell, and Waylon and Willie and the boys. Then let a guitar make it's way around the fire pit, and you'll start to hear Mark Adam Miller. He's right at home and makes you feel the same.

Mark Adam Miller is a Country Music Artist and Songwriter splitting his time between recording and songwriting in Nashville, Tennessee, and his post Katrina restored home in Covington, LA. Since Hurricanes Katrina and Rita (which dramatically affected Mark’s family property in both St. Tammany and Cameron Parish), Mark has persevered with his love of music and writing. Drawing on his life and upbringing in the deep south, Mark is successfully striding towards commercial success in the Nashville music community. Currently in the midst of recording his first solo release, Mark has melded his two music cities in every aspect. While recording the music “beds” in famous Nashville studios, Mark has insisted on recording his vocal performances at home in New Orleans, just a few feet from the Mississippi River, at The Music Shed, the city’s leading cutting edge and locally owned recording studio - every note of Mark’s soulful vocals being recorded in the embrace of his delta swamp roots. But really…would he do it any other way?

Mark Adam Miller was recently honored with an invitaion to include his composition entitled “Foundation Remains” on the Benefit CD project “Feeder Bands on the Run”, organized by the Carrollton Station Foundation of great local artists. All the proceeds of this benefit CD go to aid other local musicians affected by Katrina and Rita. Thousands of CD’s have been sold and many local musicians are being helped.

Coupled with big bold live performance, songwriting is the foundation of true creative expression for Mark. Mark has been steadfast in his trek to write with and learn from the masters. In the past 2 years, Mark has been regularly co-writing with top writers with cuts by artists such as Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, George Strait, Garth Brooks, Montgomery Gentry, Toby Keith, Trisha Yearwood, Lonestar, Trace Adkins, Luke Bryan, and many others. Writing at this level has always been the goal. Mark is achieving, striving forward, and working harder than ever.

Recently, Mark submitted 5 songs from his upcoming debut solo record to the online “Next GAC Star” competition, sponsored by the GAC TV network. Among thousands of entries from around the country, All 5 of Mark’s songs have gone into the Top 2 in the nation in the span of 6 weeks, with one of Mark’s songs reaching that golden #1 spot in the online chart competition. Not bad test marketing for the new record.

Mark Adam Miller has been performing music onstage for over 15 years in theatres, clubs, and huge festivals around the world, including 4 appearances at his hometown’s very own New Orleans’ Jazz and Heritage Festival. Mark has enjoyed independently-fuelled success in music. His former band Deadeye Dick has been responsible for selling millions of records internationally. Earning the cover of Billboard Magazine and over 100 other national and regional magazine covers, Mark has been blessed with respect and critical acclaim from the music community. The band enjoyed great Billboard chart success with their releases, screaming to the top of the charts and hitting #1 not just once, but two times. International touring ensued, with constant performance on stages around the world.

Never one to leave his roots, Mark’s first solo Country Artist record is scheduled to be released in early 2009. Undoubtedly, this record will simply be a true snapshot of his vibrant personality and unique creativity. Mark has figured out the secret to living the creative life he dreamed of: love the work, seize the day, and break the mold. The rest is just good southern gravy.

Mark's band is a merry-go-round of talented musicians from Nashville and New Orleans. Recording and touring alumni from Keith Urban, Tim McGraw, Faith Hill to southern rock legends Dash Rip Rock and Cowboy Mouth all contribute to Mark Adam Miller's project.
