about

Biography
Jazica were fromed in late 2006 by Chris Smallwood and Frankie Murdoch. It started out as a very acoustic meets chilled electro sound with one local journalist calling them 'Jack Johnson meets Massive Attack'. Then after bass and drums were added to the equasion in early 2007 everything started to get alot more of a live energy. The bands diverse taste in music pushed them to mix many different styles into their music. From Reggae to Rock to Electro Indie to 2minute catchy pop songs.

Constant giging throughout 2008 has allowed Jazica's onstage energy to become one of the many things that is leaving venues up and down the country stunnned. It has also allowed the style of the music to gain a lot of energy. In the last 6months Jazica have written a completly new set that is proving to be unstoppable.

The band use their MySpace page to let their fans know when they’re playing and to get feedback about they’re music. It’s refreshing to see a young band at the beginning of they’re career when you know they’re completely absorbed in creating music, willing to give up all their time and cash for nothing but the listener.
